The Department of Geography at the College of Education for Human Sciences at Al-Muthanna University held , virtually , its first international conference under the title “The Role of Geography in Spatial Development”.
The conference, which was sponsored by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Amer Ali Al-Atwi, was organized in cooperation with Al-Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research.
The President of the University welcomed the participants at the beginning of the activities of the first day and wished the conference a success and emphasized the continuity of supporting the academic and scientific activities.
More than fifty research papers by specialists from different international and local universities participated in the conference sessions.
The conference comes within a strategic plan launched by Al-Muthanna University in accordance with its plan to improve the university’s reality and encourage scientific exchange with reputable academic institutions.
