Professor Dr. Hussein Kamel Al-Shaher, President of Al-Muthanna University, received a delegation from Garmian University in Sulaymaniyah Province, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, headed by Professor Dr. Halt Rashid, President of Garmian University. This visit comes within the framework of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation between the two universities, developing distinguished partnerships, and enhancing collaboration in the fields of scientific research, exchange of expertise, and the development of academic programs. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Ali Mousa Rashid, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, and Professor Dr. Hassan Hadi Al-Ziyadi, Vice President for Administrative Affairs. The discussions focused on reinforcing the terms of the existing cooperation agreement between the two universities. Both parties emphasized the importance of establishing practical plans to boost joint scientific cooperation through organizing joint conferences and workshops, developing postgraduate programs, and exchanging faculty members. The visit also explored ways to strengthen relations and expand expertise, with the aim of advancing the standard of higher education and achieving further academic success that benefits students.
