Honoring the President of Al-Muthanna University, Professor Dr. Hussein Kamel Al-Shaher, at the QS Arab Forum held in the Sultanate of Oman. The recognition came as a result of Al-Muthanna University achieving advanced results in the QS Arab Region University Rankings 2026. The global ranking indicated that 296 institutions in the Arab region competed based on several indicators: academic reputation (30%), employer reputation (20%), faculty-to-student ratio (15%), international research network (10%), web impact (5%), percentage of faculty holding PhDs (5%), citations per paper (5%), papers per faculty (5%), ratio of international faculty (2.5%), and ratio of international students (2.5%).
