The President of Al-Muthanna University, Professor Dr. Hussein Kamel Al-Shahir, received the ministerial committee responsible for monitoring the implementation of the “Study in Iraq” program at the university. The committee is tasked with overseeing the affairs of foreign students studying in Iraq and assessing their academic and living conditions. For his part, the university president welcomed the committee, emphasizing that Al-Muthanna University has worked since the launch of the program to provide an ideal and exemplary environment for international students. He noted that the university’s colleges host a significant number of foreign students enrolled in various scientific and humanities disciplines. The meeting was also attended by the University Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ali Musa Rashid.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, had launched a comprehensive program aimed at encouraging Arab and foreign students to pursue their studies in Iraqi universities. As a result of the program’s implementation, Iraqi universities have received many incoming international students .
