As part of the cooperation agreement between Al-Muthanna University and Mansoura University in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which was signed by Prof. Dr. Hussein Kamel Al-Shaher, President of Al-Muthanna University, and Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, Assistant Prof. Dr. Latif Abdul Hussein Mousa, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Professor of Constitutional Law, delivered a lecture on “Constitutional Oversight of the Negative Obligations of the State” to students of the Faculty of Law at Mansoura University. The lecture was introduced by Prof. Dr. Walid El-Shenawy, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Mansoura University. The lecture addressed laws related to property rights and healthcare law, emphasizing the role of lawmakers in drafting laws that are implemented by the government to protect individuals’ rights. The lecture also reviewed examples of laws from the Republic of Iraq and the Arab Republic of Egypt that safeguard individual rights.
