Professor Dr. Hussein Kamel Al-Shaher met with the Arab international students studying at Al-Muthanna University. The meeting included a visit by the university president to their residence in the university dormitories.

Al-Shaher welcomed them on behalf of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Al-Muthanna University, emphasizing that they are in their second home, among their family and brothers from Iraq. The group consisted of three students from the Republic of Yemen: two studying at the College of Medicine, Islah Munir Salem and Saeed Nabil Saeed, and one student, Abdul Wahab Khaled Abdul Wahab, studying at the College of Dentistry. The admission of international students is part of the Study in Iraq program launched by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, to encourage foreign students to register and study at Iraqi universities and institutes. The university is expected to receive more groups in the coming days.
