Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hussein Kamel Al-Shaher, President of Al-Muthanna University, the first group of Arab students studying at the university has arrived.

The group includes three students from the Republic of Yemen, two of whom are enrolled in the College of Medicine, namely Saleh Munir Salem and Saeed Nabil Saeed, while Abdulwahab Khalid Abdulwahab is enrolled in the College of Dentistry. The admission of international students is part of the “Study in Iraq” program launched by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, aiming to encourage foreign students to register and study at Iraqi universities and institutes. The university is expected to welcome additional groups in the coming days.

The university president has formed a committee comprising Assistant Lecturer Muslim Jabbar Jundi, Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Kazem Abdul Zahra, and Sajad Hassan Abdul Reda to receive the students and facilitate their academic registration process.
