Professor Dr. Hussein Kamel Al-Shaher, President of Al-Muthanna University, received a delegation from the Central Bank of Iraq. The two parties discussed ways of mutual cooperation between the two institutions to serve the public interest. The delegation emphasized the necessity of activating a constructive partnership between the Central Bank of Iraq and the university in order to address the latest developments in the field of financial inclusion and exchange experiences and opinions.
The university president praised the role of the Central Bank of Iraq in developing the banking sector and its cooperation with state institutions. He emphasized the importance for Iraqi universities to be a gateway for implementing all modern systems that facilitate electronic payment transactions at all levels. The delegation expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the university’s presidency for the warm reception and mutual cooperation.
