With greater pride and appreciation, Al-Muthanna University added a new achievement to the scientific and research journals to increase its academic record that aims to reach the highest ranks of scientific excellence. The scientific efforts at Al-Muthanna University culminated an advanced level in the semiannual report of Iraqi universities issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Researches in the first half of 2021. In the overall result of the report, Al-Muthanna University ranked first according to the number of researches published globally as well as the first place in number of workshops, training courses and seminars. The university has also achieved advanced places in other topics as well as in the number of patents registered under the names of its teachers and the number of researches published in Scopus.
