A 50000 dollars grant, funded by IREX, is used to establish a new international collaboration with Vanguard University. The grant was received based on a project submitted by a group of researchers in the Nurse college. The project includes training of seven staff members at Vanguard University to attend special courses in nursing and life science. The two weeks course (starts on August) will include visiting the university hospital, training on new techniques of nursing and attending lectures. The collaboration also includes hosting the experts and professors of Vanguard university into our university for live lectures with our students. Experiences exchange between the two universities in this field is of great importance to our community which will reflect on the quality of our graduates.
